Is There a Minimum for Physical Activity?
There are numerous health benefits of exercise and physical activity. One size doesn't fit all, but the guide lines are pretty clear that they talk about people trying to achieve 350 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity per week. And specifically for older adults, they also say you should get one to two sessions per week of resistance exercise training or strength training exercises. The most important thing we find is that the benefits of exercise are real. But if you don't continue the exercise programme, the benefits go away.
