If you struggle with procrastination, keep the bar as low as it's humanly possible. For someone who struggles to go to the gym, setting a lofty goal of becoming Mr. Olympia is probably actually going to cause you to procrastinate rather than help you avoid that. And I tell you this machine all the time, because lots of them are really struggling to start essays or something like that. It doesn't even have to be related to the task at hand, because if you can start writing, it's a nice note to your mom. But also it gets you in that kind of frame of mind where you're putting words on paper and then begin.
