Long Run Development - Is That a Good Idea?
When i'm setting up a training plan, we're working on some form of volume progression throughout the plan. So that might mean like working on some speed work at certain points of the preparation. My general word of advice with the long run is, if you can target race tay intensity when you're doing ultras,. that can be a good target for a good chunk of your long runs. It's your opportunity to really practise race day specifics.
