Sweet potatoes caused a huge spike for me, like probably around 60 or 70 points. I actually don't want to eat them by themselves because it is causing a large glycemic excursion. If you take the sweet potato, cool it in the fridge and then reheat it, it'll likely cause less of a glucose response. You could also eat protein and vegetables before you eat the sweet potato.
