The book is the result of many, many interviews with artists from different domains. And i found myself thinking a lot about materials. I can't tell you how many rocks ive brought back from the beach that disappointed me when i got home. For for me, it's a keyboard. Because my handwriting has deteriorated as i've done less of it overtime. But then when you think about real artists, meaning artists with with media of various kinds, paint, brush, chisel,. all that stuff, they help the artist in its own way.
