Shan parker is the co founder of napster, the fad sharing softwer that brought the recording indetut to his niece. Back in 19 99, shan was just a 19 year old kid living with his parents and trying to download some smashing pumpkin songs from his friends. i felt like a chance to re do everything that we had tried to do at abster and sort of failed to accomplish, in part because we were just too inexperienced. The record labels weren't ready for it. They didn't understand the sunami that had just hit them.
