The zedac spectrum was an ape computer with forty eight k memory and a sixteen k rom also tat a tape drive, because we were in the era before disks were very common. You would buy games from the local news agent for two pounds ninety nine which is about five bucksish,. And er, you'd put them in, and it was dinner, just like listening to an old modem, sounded and screeching, whatever. But if you don't have many games, another alternative would be to buy magazines from the same newsagent you were getting the games. And they would have type enlistengs at the back. And that's kind of how i got started into in programming...
