The Dangers of Resulting
CNN's John Sutter talks about the dangers of resulting as a tendency. He says there are two reasons why it happens, one is that people focus on outcome rather than what was probability-based decision making. The other reason he points out is that once we feel like something inevitable has happened, we kind of prune everything away and start to see things in black and white.
