I'm in a Darker Place Than You Are Right Now

I tried to start a few conversations and each one was met with some duration on his part of like, why can't you just let it go? I've never been in a darker place than I am right now. And it wasn't met with compassion that I would have thought the friendship would have carried with it. It sounds like you were saying to your friend, I'm in a really dark place, I'm really struggling. So could you tell us the story from your ex-wife's perspective?
