What's the Standard for Customer Confusion?
There's no risk of confusion between a tech investment firm and a web browser, but you could say they're both in the software business. Where do you draw the line and what's the standard for differentiating there? And that's what makes trademark law challenging and exciting at the same time. There's not really a clear answer to whether or not these two things are considered too close.
