The Effect of Thoughts on Feelings

The feeling is the thing that we aim to heal, and how you do that is when you, we aim to feel the feeling without the reaction. When you have the felt sense in the body, and there's no story to keep it going, it gradually dissipates as all feeling does. So this is a very important point, you can heal yourself, but if you get caught in the reaction to the feeling, you could be there for a lifetime. It's a serious thing, depending on the feeling. Yeah. Once the feeling of distress dissipates, then I'm thinking more clearly, and I'm not driven by the same agitations. And so that is the simple way.
