I'm Not a Scholar of Buddhism, but I Can't Break It Down
In some forms of buddhism, very much this embracing of concepts as you've described them being constructed and all that. So there's a part of me that feels really like this debate, which has gone on in western culture for the last couple of thousands of years about the nature of categories and concepts. And i would say that is the closest contemplative idea. It's identical to what we are proposing scientifically as what we think of as the best explanation for what your emotions are and how they work.
