One minute heart rate recovery is a simple way to measure fitness. If your heart rate drops 30 or forty beats per minute, that's good recovery. But if it stays elevated, like how i used to have it, that's a sign that what you did you just weren't conditioned for. I tried tracking h r v. but i feel like the resting heart rate was enough for my goals.
