Kafka's Diary

This is the second time I've read the diaries themselves, but the first time I'm reading what I guess is often called the unexpergated version. It's very sequential, and it cuts out a lot of things,. Whereas this one is seems to be more open-ended. The notebooks themselves are numbering because it's like first notebook second notebook or how does that work? They're put in chronological order by the earliest chronological entry in each notebook.
