The Limits of Progressive Running

The protocol we did was relatively simplistic. It's based on the work of Amy Silda and her colleagues who I think published their rehab study back in 2013. We started as soon as they could walk within their groups relative pain limits. And then once they can do that for a certain amount of repetitions, we then move them up, increase the intensity to a jog to what we call a run. So something has been around for a while and it's something that people were probably doing long before that as well.
