I think most of us don't recognize that you should get paid some percentage of the value generated, not necessarily just a salary. I came on as the VP of sales of one person with zero revenue. And so by the time I left five years later, the company was at 71 million in recurring. So yeah, I felt like it was a worthwhile deal for the company. It was really stressful and all that stuff. But yeah, it was a great living.
