The Importance of Small Groups in Special Education
There's not much research showing on a large scale that this work can be done. These students deserve a champion. I am able to say to them, I am with you. We're going to figure it out until you reach your goals. That's the missing piece. For us, that is essential. This isn't a one on one pull out. It's a group of students that form a community and help each other reach their goals together.
