The Importance of Having a Guard in the Game
Having a preference for any weapon is the same error as having no skill with any weapon. I think that it violates the fundamental principles of what it means to have a guard in the first place. If you're thinking of these positions as being rigidly defined and there's like a dictionary of guards, then you can also lead you down the path of this mistake where you think there's one true way of playing all of those guards. We've all got different body types.
