The six-inch long skeleton was originally thought to be ancient. DNA testing found that the remains were only a few decades old. 10% 9 to 10% of the DNA came back as not human. That just has to do with the DNA, as Ben said earlier, it degrades over time and also there's a certain percentage of error when doing DNA testing.
