The Importance of Awareness in Yoga

The most important part of physical yoga is not, you know, like I'm flexible enough to put my shoes, my hamstrings are long enough. If we haven't grown accustomed to doing it on a consistent basis, then trying to do it when we're in the midst of stress is all about a loss cause. In other words, we have to begin to develop the muscle without just trying to fix everything with a quick fix. And the word for practice: abiasa abi asa means the consistent effort to be calm and tranquil.
