Fear and anxiety are not synonyms, but they're pretty close in the way that she's referring to this. She has things that we can do that make it worse. Things you should not do, which is some of why she told that story because she did the wrong thing. There's all sorts of stuff that you can do to try to make this go away in the short term. But in the long term, it can make things much, much worse.
