Why Are Habits Worth Building?
The purpose of habits is to solve the problems of life with less energy or effort than usual. The more that you face a problem repeatedly, the more your brain starts to find a quick solution and then automate that solution. Some people do something like, they'll play video games for an hour; somebody else might smoke a cigarette,. Or a third person might go for a run. And ah, we just kind of come into them naturally.
