I'm trying to rethink through power because I think that there we at the end again this is an intro academy problem but a lot of our are in the academy people often terminate their scholarly categories in terms of the word power or in terms of notions of power. When you ask academics what is power they tend to revert to some kind of quasi-fucodean butlery notion that power is everywhere it's ubiquitous and turns out not to be good analytically. That version of power isn't good for activism either so a larger project is to turn the whole thing apart but it's a really hard problem I think in a new way.
