i think this text offers some important corrections to what can often be misreadings or misunderstandings of how leadership should function and also the notion of vanguardism so i've been a little harsh on this text in the last last section i'm going to try to be a little more generous to it here. It's crucial that the work that we're doing goes beyond just meeting basic needs to actually raise in consciousness and this is a really difficult task I know this personally from experience but revolutionary organizers often do kind of come to these situations with a bunch of preconceived notions of what an interaction of consciousness raising should look like. The process of distributing them can be really really simple right it can end
