How to Do Blood Lactate Testing as a Pilathlete?

The VO2 max test is very accurate, but it is finicky and a lot of people don't really like getting their finger poked while they're running on a treadmill. You do use a treadmill typically, well, not typically, always you want to use the modality that you're most accustomed to. There's just no fast way in each of them to do it. Lots of downsides. So we can go through just the pluses and minuses of that and then we'll move onto what we recommend as a pilathlete.
