The Importance of Sharing Your Grief With Your Friends
I often told my ex-girlfriend when she complained about this, I said, this was my life of 40 years, and I am my stories. But not with my friends. Even knowing that she could not tolerate that you have a history, which everyone comes with,. You still wanted to live with her, even though she couldn't tolerate that. And I think that that's a very important thing to consider, that being in your grief was so intolerable that you would put yourself in a different kind of intolerable situation.
