How Do Static Stretching and Stretching Affect Performance?
We see a lot of, obviously dynamic warm ups these days, but still get a lot of athletes doing a lot of static stretching and back and forth. So if we want to get more range of motion through something, the way that we'd like to do it is with a heavy load move. Warm-up is absolutely fundamental. That's great for warm-up. We wouldn't necessarily go in and do lots of stretching, whether it's dynamic or passive, before we do something.
