This chapter examines a comparative study on the efficacy of tenecteplase versus alteplase for patients with large ischemic core strokes undergoing thrombectomy. It highlights that tenecteplase showed better functional outcomes and lower mortality at three months, with comparable safety profiles regarding intracranial hemorrhage.
