The Clothoid Loop on Roller Coasters
This is a signature clothoid loop that you'll see on many roller coasters. It's a very signature teardrop shape you get on a roller coaster. And this is something that Coney Island found out when the flip-flap center-fugal train was closed at the end of the 19th century. The ride that replaced it was the loop, the loop, which now encompassed this teardrop clothoid loop shape.
