The Importance of Adaptability in Trend Following
Trend following as it occurred in the late 1990s is quite different from trend following right now. What we've seen recently are markets that show anti-moment and in the short run even as they are trending. How you implement a trend following approach requires adaptability. You may stick to your basic orientation to markets, i.e. trend following but how you put it into practice has to be based on outcomes that's where the adaptability comes in.
