Michael Rigt: Culture is best described as how people behave when nobody's lookig. In 19 95, i felt that the single biggest barrier to our ability to achieve long term, sustainable success in the organization was the absence of a common bond or culture and leadership values throughout the organization. When we acquired maple foods in 19 95, it was a desperate group of businesses. A, they were all run as in a somewhat silod basis. And after spending the first year trying to diagnose thethe business and what the future would look like, it mad belief.
