The Story of the Peacock

A man had a peacock, says playwright tom stoppard. He was shaving one morning and in the mirror he saw the bird atop the garden wall. So the man drops his razor and races out just as the bird reaches the motor way. And he catches it after a hundred yards or so, and puts the peacock under his arm and starts home. But in the meantime, a good half dozen cars have sped by, and their occupants have seen a man only in pyjama pants,. His face covered with shaving foam, carrying peacock. It's the stories that count. We can be grateful for all these stories.
