Can We Have a City Break?

I'd like to see within term holidays acceptable on a national level. I'm not talking two weeks in the middle of the term, but a Friday and a Monday here and there. We can have a city break. My last school allocated three days across the year. It worked. There's no reason why it couldn't happen, say, with enough preparation and planning that. Just can then take it random day in December to get the Christmas shopping done so they don't have dirt rush or worry about doing that on a weekend.
