Is There a Left Wing Version of Decomodification?
Right and left wing versions of decomodification in the discourse, not really in practice. Right wing version is trying to preserve autonomy of communities from market pressures. Left wing version would be something like social housing or socialized medicine. I don't think that's filtered into any kind of particularly larger or meaning programme. And when push comes to shove when it comes to how state interventions and economy are dealt with, conservatives seem to fall back on this older nuna setting. So there's sort of a reversion among american right-wingers to this type of American republicanism.
