Wine Tasting Experts Versus a Beginner

The right hemisphere does most of the fine attuning stuff. But in the case of wine experts, there seem to be certain aspects of them also by the left hemisphere. And one of the ways that has been accounted for is because a lot of what a wine expert is doing rather than just enjoying the wine is categorizing and saying, ah, yes, I can put a name and a label to that. So probably it's a synthesis of what the right and left do with the left dominating at certain stages.
