I think ranked choice voting is a big deal because I think that there are particularly bad Hegelian dialectic dynamics going on in our political system. And if we can't find something better, I think they are a vast improvement over not having it. If you look at the modern political system, you see a lot of the selling point at each side, not the other one. The problems that matter aren't actually like partisan problems. They're more like discovery or like exploration problems.
