The Future Might Not Be as Good as We Had Hoped
Human extinction has not happened yet. Some events were deliberately chosen by people and were bad, but also a lot of bad things don't really seem to have been chosen by anyone per se. They were just the outcome of a kind of undirected process. Anyone or any group could do something like this in the future. And these are all, you know, worrying possibilities. But I also don't think this list exhausts the reasons why the future might not be as good as we had hoped.
