DNA is three billion letters in length, and each letter has a unique sequence. The CRISPR molecules that you put into the cell to try and fix things are they got to unravel in human being. They've got to check through 2023 chromosome pairs to find the sequence that they're really interested in. It's this precision which led Fyodor Noff to coin the term gene editing. This was before CRISPR appeared on the scene.
