Make the Consequences More External

Make the consequences much more frequent. For example, if you know you tend to run late, like telling a friend if you're going to meet them for dinner, look, if I'm 10 minutes late, I'll buy you dinner. Or as a client of mine who was having trouble getting out of bed, she sat up this bed with her boyfriend and they made him turn on the light by the end of the month or whatever. She would have to paint her fingernails,. the color of an opposing football team, for example, if she lost. So that was a pretty good motivator for her and you made it kind of fun and whatever to do this kind of silly bet
