The Importance of Living in a Food Desert
There's a lot of variation in the US from state to state. Some of that may be health policy, but some of it may also just be the social norms of how people gather and spend their time. The communities that are food desert tend to also be places that don't have great access to spaces to be physically active. And so I think it is important to recognize that we don't all have the same access to make the same choices.
