Therson: Why is it so easy for our attention to get high jacked? The key is that its presence centred in non editorializing, right? Its being in the here and the now. When people practised, they did benefit. And it was altering the default negative consequences of a lot of very stressful circumstances for people. But with mindfulness training, we found a solution that was enduring. Of course, you have to keep practising, just like physical exercise, to benefit.
