A lot of what we learned in doing mainframe, I also worked at IBM back in the old days. A lot of lessons we had from doing mainframe user interfaces came back on the early web. And as experience is really key in UX, it can be reapplied to new context quite well. It's one of our famous heuristics, speak the user's language and including when you're working in a team.
