Relaxation Exercises for Stressors
Throughout the day, pick one or two activities that you not only might do when you awaken in before bed, but periodically throughout the day. People with anxiety disorders and PTSD tend to have a stronger response to stressors than people who don't have those pre-existing issues. By doing these exercises prior to going into a stressful situation, you're actually reducing that priming,. which may make it easier to regulate your emotional response in the situation.
