The Threat of False Prophets

False prophets were a constant threat in Jesus' day. A false prophet by the name of Bar-Kokba claimed to speak on behalf of God. And guess what? Jerusalem was destroyed and Israel wasn't a nation for upwards of two millennia because they did not heed Jesus' warning. They didn't follow the true prophet in his way of non-violent self-sacrifice, but a false prophet in the way of Revolutionary War. It's just so not cool in our city of tolerance and an open mind and what you think there's truth. Like it's just so Not how we are.
