Life blocking is the term i'm currently using for what i often call time blocking. The reason i'm calling it life blocking versus time blocking is cal newort, whom a big fan of. He he is advocating what he calls time blocking in a very specific way. And you are creating a block of time determining in advance what you're going to do. But there's a much more makro form of time blocking, and he has it.
