Is Crohn's Disease More Common Than Ulcerative Colitis?

Walker: I think the bloody appearance of stool is much more commonly seen in ulcerative colitis than it is in Crohn's disease. And then also for Crohn's and Walker I know you'll dive into this in a little bit but think about the complications you see with Crohn's Disease generally these are fistula, strictures, perianal disease all those features are suggests of Crohn's overall sort of colitis. So yeah I think this is a really important distinction for me when I'm thinking about ulcerative Colitis I really focus on what's happening in the stool.
