How to Build Rapport When Meeting Someone for the First Time

When you meet someone for the first time, you're not actually meeting that person. You're meeting a persona that that person has spent their entire life cultivating specifically for public use. So in order to understand how to build rapport with any individual, you have to first understand that the person you're sitting across the table from isn't really who you're going to building rapport with.
