The Problem With Chatbots
The GPT chatbot accused Georgetown professor Jonathan Turley of sexual harassment in a Washington Post article that didn't exist. No one has taken on the engines and said, you accused me of something falsely. It's just this kind of like novel problem that these chatbots based on large language models raise. There is a partially engineering mindset that says tech needs to get better. The first things will not be nearly as good as the things down the road. We've got to live with that.
