The Battle for Blair Mountain by Robert Shogun

The miners launch a desperate assault across the entire Blair Mountain line. Federal troops arrive on September 3rd, and the miners are forced to retreat from their lines. In the end, 50-100 miners were killed, along with 10-30 of sheriff chafensmen. Almost a thousand miners were arrested, but the vast majority of the army dispersed. Many miners hid their weapons in the hills and valleys around Blair Mountain,. caches of arms are still discovered there today.
