What Do We Really Lose From Vaccine Development?

The United States can control whether or not deep vision does this work, but we can't stop the rest of the world from doing it. And wouldn't it be bad for china to do this work under the cloak of darkness? For them to identify six pathagans that we know nothing about, and then we have this information a symmetry? Isn't the danger of that frightening enough that we just can't let it happen? We're kind of dragged into almost an arm's race. These are viruses that are going to kill their people as well.
